Morning time plans

Wednesday, April 9, 2014

Yesterday was 20 degrees.  We played outside after school in the morning, and we played outside in the mud after naps in the afternoon.
Bliss.
This morning we woke up to snow, but somehow we can still taste spring and it feels good!

Obviously  I put the blanket out so that John could avoid it at all costs and head to the deck and sticks!
Boys were making cow food and horse food.  They wanted to let me in their barn (the garage).  I declined.  Mum's can be annoying at times.
We have mud for about 2 weeks of the year, and I try and embrace it.  The boys were in shorts too which was adorable as they kept giggling over their knees showing.

It was arachnids in science this morning.
Yuck.
And then yum.
We made some for snack time.  2 body parts and 8 legs.
That makes them different from insects which have 3 body parts and 6 legs.
And we made those out of bluetack so there never was any yum to counter the yuck.
Can you tell we have girls first?  Judging by how excited they twins got yesterday over ladybugs, the bug/insect/spider fear may well die out in this house soon.
